Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

In Tears of the Kingdom, players can change the look of their Paraglider; here's how to get every available fabric for it.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom allows players to customize their gear like never before. In this Zelda title, players can change the colors of their armor just like they could with the armor in Breath of the Wild. But now, they can also fuse items together to change the look of their weapons, bows, and can even change the fabrics of Link's Paraglider.

Unlike in BotW, there are a ton of fabrics to choose from instead of just being stuck with the original version. Unlocking all of these paraglider fabrics will take a lot of work, but in the end, it will be worth it to have all these options available.

Updated June 3, 2023, by Mina Smith: Some new fabrics have been found in Tears of the Kingdom; if players want to collect every single possible fabric in the game, they will need to check out the new additions below.

Once players have made their way to Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom, they can visit the Dye shop. This is the man who could dye their armor in the previous game, and he's located in the same spot. Chat with him to receive the mushroom-print Cece paraglider fabric.

Completing the quest called Messages from an Ancient Era in Tears of the Kingdom is the only way to earn this fabric. Players will need to chat with the NPC Wortsworth at the Looking Landing location, then follow him to Kakariko Village. After that, he will ask Link to take photos of 13 sky island plaques written in ancient Hylian. Take all the photos to complete the quest and get the Zonai Survey Team fabric.

In order to get the Malanya Horse God fabric for the paraglider, players will just need to catch a horse and register it at a stable. They can also use one of the amiibo to get Epona and register her if they don't want to go through the trouble of catching one for themselves.

If Link has made it over to Kakariko Village, they may have noticed that Claree's armor is very expensive. This is to help pay for Nanna's medical bills; the old woman got too close to the Gloom and has become ill. In order to help them out, players will need to make some Sundelion Porridge for her to help cure her Gloom-borne illness.

The Claree will lower the cost of her armor back down to normal pricing, and she will give Link this Paraglider fabric with his first purchase.

If players remember their time on the Great Plateau in Breath of the Wild, they may remember that the King of Hyrule gave them a paraglider in the topmost room of the ruins of the Temple of Time. If players return to that same room on top of the Temple, they will find a chest with this fabric inside.

The Korok Fabric is only available if players have saved the Deku Tree first. Once that battle with Phantom Ganon is over, players will be able to interact with the Deku Tree and all the Koroks hanging around in the Lost Woods. Head inside the tree where the mushroom store and inn are located, then use the Ascend ability to go through the ceiling of the mushroom store.

Players will find themselves in a secret room inside the Deku Tree. There is a young Korok there named Oaki, looking to decorate this secret room; he will ask Link for some Blue Nightshade. Once Link has given this to him, he will give Link the Korok Paraglider fabric.

In Akkala, players can buy their own home from Tarrey Town's Hudson. But first, they will need to complete the quest chain Mattison's Independence, helping Hudson's young daughter to head to Gerudo Town. Once Mattison is gone, head back to Hudson's home and speak to his Gerudo wife named Rhondson. She will offer Link a new home of his own for 1,500 Rupees.

Head over to Link's new home by the Rasitakiwak Shrine, and put his home together with the Ultrahand ability. Once it is together, Rhondson will come to give Link this paraglider fabric as a thanks for his purchase.

In order to get the Yiga paraglider, players will first need to unlock all three pieces of the Yiga armor. The chest piece is located at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab at 4509, 3152, 0247. The mask is located at the old man's house on the Great Plateau around -0791, -2232, 0087. Last but not least, the Yiga Armor pants are located in the Aldor Foothills at -0644, 2037, 0158.

Once players have all the pieces, they need to go to the Yiga main hideout wearing all the Yiga Armor; it is located in the Gerudo Highlands at -3493, -1311, 0335, right next to the Rotsumamu Shrine. After infiltrating the hideout, partake in some Yiga training. The first trial is to defeat three Yiga soldiers in less than two minutes. This is gain players the Yiga Fabric.

If players speak with the Armor Dyer Sayge in Hateno Village, he will ask players to bring him a picture of a Chuchu. He will say he's looking for fabric inspiration; bring him a picture of a regular Chuchu and get the Chuchu fabric along with a list of other things he needs a picture of. Each of these enemies and fauna will have another paraglider fabric.

Take a photo of the Eldin-Ostrich in the Eldin Region, and bring it back to Sayge in Hateno Village.

Take a photo of any horse, and bring it back to Sayge in Hateno Village.
